The 2024 Prometheus Young Artists Show is a non-profit initiative by Prometheus Art Gallery aimed at providing young artists with the opportunity to showcase their work in a professional gallery setting. The exhibition is designed to offer these artists greater exposure, allowing them to connect directly with art collectors and industry professionals while gaining firsthand experience in the art sales process.
Prometheus Art Gallery, located in downtown Oakville, is dedicated to showcasing contemporary art with a special focus on prints and mixed media. We are committed to supporting emerging talent and have a wealth of experience in attracting art enthusiasts and collectors. One of our key programs, the Art Cube project, is specifically designed to support local and young artists.
This exhibition will provide students from OCAD and Sheridan with a professional platform to present their work while building connections with Toronto’s mainstream art institutions. In parallel, the show runs alongside student internship programs and young artist incubators. There is also an opportunity for participants to receive recommendations for official exhibitions at local institutions in Toronto or provincial and municipal galleries in China, such as Jiangsu Art Museum and Sichuan Art Museum.
Collaborating Partner

The purpose of Sheridan CSSA is to help Sheridan Chinese students to solve the problems of eating, drinking, living and studying during their study abroad, and the association also tries its best to provide a richer and more interesting study life.
The Young Professionals Board (YPB) of the Mississauga Chinese Business Association (MCBA) is a vibrant and dynamic platform designed for young professionals aged 18 to 35. The YPB organizes a diverse range of events each month, aimed at fostering meaningful connections and collaboration among young professionals in the western region of Mississauga. These events offer opportunities to expand networks, share career experiences, and develop personal skills in a relaxed and welcoming environment, all while exploring new professional opportunities. The mission of the Young Professionals Board is to empower the next generation of leaders, support their career advancement, and promote active engagement with the community.
The Mississauga Chinese Business Association was founded in November 1991. Through UNITY and CO-OPERATION, the Association has built up a solid foundation and has provided excellent opportunities to the Chinese business community to share their insight, thoughts and ideas. It is believed that the Association has achieved its goals in serving as a bridge between our members, local business groups and ultimately in working towards a stronger Canada. The Association has increased its involvement in partnership and strategic alliances with other business associations and corporations. This has helped to bring more valued-added services and business opportunities to all members. We strongly believe that the Association is well positioned to face future challenges.
